| | Stix on Green Lanes. Yeh, I know it's a re-spot but it was me not that fakenger Emilia who spotted you. She's got a head full of jolly robins that one. I spotted someone else this weekend but I forget who. You know you guys all look the same after a while. Young, bearded, possessed of a quiet confidence, some kind of bike with bits on it, wheels, possibly a stem... |

| | Right now right outside my window, The Queen Mary being towed very slowly down the river by three tugs. Apparently they're taking it to La Rochelle to become a floating luxury hotel. I used to have a monthly meeting on that. Good sandwiches. Well, lots of sandwiches which is good.... N.B this is the Clyde ferry Queen Mary that's been moored by Waterloo bridge for years not the mahoosive ocean liner of the same name. Still quite a substantial thing for the river. They're still going to have trouble getting it under Blackfriars bridge I reckon. All the masts and funnels have been cut off but they're sort of stalled waiting for the tide to drop by the looks of things. http://turbinesteamers.awardspace.com/QueenMary.htm |

| | Me smashing my Average speed PB for my commute this morning, whilst carrying a heavily laden bag: Laptop in hard case, power supply, full tool kit, krypto fag chain with lock, and my lunch for the day. 5 miles, 15 minutes, 20mph average speed. Put a smile on my face this morning :) |

| | Geezer with Chrome rucsac on nice blue Italian roadbike conversion through Bermondsey this am, trackstanding at various lights. I had a chrome rucsac too, stupid bobble hat, yellow and green fifties path bike. Watcha. Also someone outside Goldsmiths stopped at the kerb with a familiar-looking red Bob Jackson, old block decals in white, I spotted a silver Phil on the front... Hi. |

| | I've switched back to Atac Aliums after getting fed up of carrying a spare pair of shoes and switching to clips and straps and I must say I've fallen in love all over again. Spotted last night on Farringdon Road, a lady cruising along on a SS multicoloured Condor with rear Spok. |

| | saturday, just after dark i was leaving downham and turning toward the south when i got a nice smile from a girl on a ss/fg being followed by her chap It was far too dark but that kind of simple, "hey, ooh another bike rider" smile is nice. Sunday afternoon Bmmf and Tynan on clerkenwell rd (?) he was "allright" |

| | @Brendan - I was concentrating hard, as you tend to do when escorting an over-active 3-year-old on a micro-scooter across Old St (not Clerkenwell Rd). That was a very responsible skid stop, BTW. It's so refreshing to see someone not riding like a twat on a fixie-type bicycle. |

| | Outside Wholefoods on Parkway on Sunday afternoon, a nice tall person wearing sidis and a big bag and with a blue frame, approached the lamp-post where I was unlocking my bike, just as I was leaving. You said, 'may I join you?' I was thoroughly impressed with your manners, young* man. Give yourself a biscuit. *ish |

| | Unsuccessful in that we found no student bodies. Successful in that we had a nice ride to Richmond and back. Unsuccessful in that I fucked my knee (Probably due to the cold). But again successful in riding all the way home one legged from Big Ben!!!! Nice to meet you guys. Also, spotted another fixie skidder on our way out. Probs around Putney area? Green frame, drops, chrome bag, longish hair, ohoc, gsoh, for fun, frolicks.... oh wait, sorry, not the gumtree singles page. There were 3 of us, you overtook going up a slight hill. |

| | Meant to mention this earlier, but Forum Stalwart PJ(PJ) in Bristol this weekend. The man is a witch, as I'd just come onto here (via the lovely Mac shop in Brizzle) asking whether anyone had his phone number anymore, when lo, two minutes down the road, I spot a yellow Bob Jackson being unlocked by the familiar PJ figure. He looks and sounds much healthier than he did when he lived in London! Anyway, he's talking about coming back up to the city, for a visit, maybe to coincide with Cornelius Hotfoottingitaroundtheworld's leaving do. On top of that, lots of Bristol HipsterFixieSkidders at the SW Regional Rollapaluza heats. |
