Friday on the way home from work crossed a set of lights at the top of Royal College St when a guy and asian girl ran the red light going the opposing direction. He on a yellow fixed, cycling hat, she on a fixed/ss I think. Deep in conversation.

yeah was down that neck of the woods had brekkie at london fields then went to polo.

who was cycling down Balham (I think) today with a white Peugeot fork that have a mudguard attach to it strapped onto his bag while riding his singlespeed? (or fixed, can't tell, he didn't stop pedalling and it have two brake).

I think I saw every fixie hipster ever yesterday as I trolled around Hipsterville (that's Hackney's famous Hackney and Bethnal Green's famous Bethnal Green) with my little boy on the back of my bike. I was training my boy to spot hipsters and he kept saying 'is that a hipster daddy?' really loudly about people going by it was fucking excellent. Attaboy.

btw for the record I am an ex hipster who has really become too old to qualify. Hipsterdad.

hi vic, remember seeing you and Matt being the young lovers around town on saturday - it was in fact my day for spotting forumengers on foot, with mashton in amongst the shoreditch crowd. i am only ever on my bike! wasn't me on northumberland avenue though!
saw flickwg last night and flatlander this morning.

skoota - sorry about the chain tool thing. i want one like what flatlander borrowed from work.

I've spotted 3 MONOCs in the last three days, ok one was Jonny Saturday, then Sunday top of Columbia road yellow MONOC (who must have just checked out the spacers sale on chainreaction) locked up behind a wheelie bin at about 1-2ish AND one this morning at the traffic lights at borough market heading towards Southwark bridge way, this was your guy i think...lycra'd.

extremely lycra'd - not for Tour de Commute, but as shins says - there are a few about. chatted with a guy on geared monoc the other day who was telling me how shit he thought it was - i was on the clown bike so he didn't know i had one!

mines okay though - now it is running silently

i have seen a girl riding that yellow fixed one too!

...and saw the same bike an hour later at South beers. Still haven't worked out who was riding it.
