think I'd go for the two whites on the front straps but keep the rear straps nice and clean

Scott - with the embroidery on the bags, can they use an eps or have they just got a stock set of fonts you have to use?

the impression i got from her was that they can use pretty much anything....but not sure if the price changes when it's not a standard font?.....i'm taking a few things there as soon as the machine is fixed and i can stitch the flap pockets that the embroidery is going on.....i'll know more then....:)

Just wanted to join the love-in. I'm on the waiting list and I can't wait to get the bag, but nor do I want Scott to sew his fingers together or something due to a lack of sleep. Good luck getting the machine fixed!

I have looked at embroidery setup before and it seems the file transfer/setup to the ancient softwear for the machine is what costs.
May have changed now though.

yeah,it's the same as most things,if you're only having one of each thing it's costly,as you're paying for a seperate setup each time....not bad if you're having quite a big bit of embroidery,but makes it expensive if you only want a tiny logo or something.
i'm interested to see how the first piece turns out.

been looking at getting embroidered patches done as well - not that expensive as long as there's a reasonable quantity - LFGSS patches anyone?

While researching reflective thread to get my bag embroidered with I came across these;

http://www.nightfirepatches.com/reflective_patches.html

I've emailed them to see if they'd be willing to do a run of custom patches and if so what the minimum number would be and how much it'd cost. Who'd be interested?

I was thinking of getting something more bike, rather than biker related, was going to ask if they'd send me a sample, I'll see if I can get a pink heart tattoo for you if you like :)

scott not scot:this isn't the website LPG....it's just a flyer....
i'm asking nothing,people come to me when they want a bag,and when the website is up and running,they will be able to see exactly how much bag that £160 will get them....and should they choose to compare features and prices with other companies,they will see just what good value they are.
My bags won't just be bought by the highly paid,they will be used day in and day out by cycle couriers,commuters,anybody who needs a great quality bag that will last them a long time and allow them to carry everything they need to as comfortably as possible.
there may well be cheaper bags of the same size out there,but they won't have the strength,features,and quality materials found in an Archie's Grobag.

Sounds like a your outlook on life, rather than a marketing statement.
