| | Originally, I was looking for a Nitto Moustache, but its really wide. So to find something similar, but not as wide, I looked for alternative......which included, low-pro bars, but reversed. I'll keep adding, if anyone knows of more options, or can give an opinion on anything similar. |

the only other thing is that because a lot of the width is made up from the outward sweep of the drops the usable bit of the top is actually very narrow. especially if yr squeezing in a brake and light.

| | Here are a particularly nice pair of tash bars I have always liked and been curious to know what they are (for some reason I can't copy the picture into the message so here is a link): Bob Jackson Vigorelli on Flickr - Photo Sharing!@@AMEPARAM@@http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3161/2656681316_28d0f5d403.jpg?v=0@@AMEPARAM@@265668131 6@@AMEPARAM@@28d0f5d403 |

Anyone ridden randonneur bars? Can you describe the difference between regular road drops when the curved tops and the flared flats. Are they really more comfortable?

| | Just added this one to the List of Lists. I hadn't done it before, because normally I add the extra data (weight, length) before posting as a completed list. But I realise that its not essential, and its not a bad resource as it is. Cheers Superprecise for the reminder. |

| | Cinelli Popes were actually called Valencia ![]() They're lovely and have somewhat come back into fashion so Cinelli decided to reissue them. Great. Of course now they only come in black (for that retro look?) and with a OS 31.8 clamp. For F's sake. ![]() Oh to complete the crazy trans generation look they also do a leather tape - £70! Which, as you can see, even they weren't stupid enough to put on black bars. No, on the silver ones they don't do anymore. Great, thanks cinelli. ![]() |

+1 Tomasito's been at for ages, but this is the year of the funny bars for me. Banging some belleri's on my Path bike for a new riding position whatever the era-correctness fail.

| | Got my midge bars a couple of days ago, for my utility bike. Really stiff, nice amount of top flat for such heavily flared bars, good width for control on mild trails, and brake hood hand position should be perfect for comfy road use. So far I'm really impressed. Just need my Tektro RL 520s (V-brake compatible drop-bar levers) to come back (long story), and I can start putting it all together. When the upgrading is finished finished it'll be... Brandless, clear coated, alu hybrid frame Carbon cycloX forks Deore MTB groupset with V-brakes Deore hubs laced 36 spoke 3x (plan to go 40 spoke rear, in future) Full mudguards 32/28mm (R/F) tyres in the summer 40mm studded for winter Midge bars with bar-end shifters. double panniers with zip-on top bag or child-seat. If it was'nt so utility-like, I would'nt have been able to justify building so much fun into my fixed ;) | |
