| | I'm a, what do you call them, metrosexual. I'm not scared to wear pink and living in the North East right now is funny with all the comments from the homophobic northerners about my pink shirts. I'm coming down to London in two weeks time and I want to buy a pink shirt. I'm into stripes too. I've got a couple of Thomas Pink shirts and a few Hawes & Curtis ones. Any other similarly priced brands I should look at with main shop being in London? Thanks ps. I was told this was the place to find out information about pink shirts. |

| | I like Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts Mail order, and you don't even need to come down to the Smoke to get them. |

| | i don't know if you have american apparels in the UK, but (as much as everyone who works in every store is a fucking stuck-up indie hipster fucktard) they're shirts are wicked comfy and come in lots of colors including PINK. i've got a pink penguin polo shirt which is pretty nice - those also come in various colors. also, not to be a thread-jacker, but on the topic of clothing, where can i find some nice fred perry polos? those are a bitch to come by in the US. |

| | I very rarely do the suit, shirt and tie thing so don't claim to be any kind of expert on this but do have a numer of shirts from Turnbull and Asser that are exquisite, only other shirt that comes close was a silk Yohji Yamamoto number I bought for a ball in the late eighties, took clothes rather more seriously back then. Their (Turnbull and Assers's) service is second to none and they more than likely have a selection of different hues of pink for you to choose from. The thing I like best of all is that they have purpose made shop shirts, with their size embriodered on them, for you to try on to find the right size. This means you're always absolutely the first person ever to put on a shirt you buy from them. If other people do this I've never come across it, maybe it's a little silly but I think its a nice touch on their part Here's their website and they have a shop on Jermyn Street www.turnbullandasser.co.uk |

| | Jermyn Street is to shirts as Saville Row is to suits.....many fine emporiums all in a row.....also a bloody good cheese shop too, and the back entrance of Fortnum and Masons for afternoon tea.... Pronounced like "German" but with "i" replacing the "a". Check out Swaine, Adeney and Brigg on St James Street near the end of Jermyn Street if you want a top class umbrella or shooting stick.....oh and Lobb shoes is on St James street too.... |
