just a quick question though, i know when you go to open track days etc your not allowed to have the brake fitted, would that apply to us because we'd be hiring it, could we just have them on and not use them?

no,brakes are not allowed wether its an open track day or a private meet...they're dangerous

If everyone on the track has brakes (ie. roadies using it for sprint training) then it's fine. A hodge-podge mix of brakeless and brakes riders is a no-no.

I know that if I had them I'd probably end up using them without thinking about it. I'm happy to use one of their loaners to be honest (I'm never THAT fast...)
