Hey, just a favour for my housemate really. She's working on a tv cooking show at the moment, the concept is a bit wank, and I understand if nobody wants to do this, but she told me to ask. The concept for the show is kinda saturday kitchen meets T4 and it's being shot in a warehouse in Dalston, just around the corner from the downham road courts.

The basic gist of it is, they want people to play polo for a bit on sunday evening in the background from about 6pm, it's a pretty big warehouse with lots of room, and they've promised to feed you as well as provide you with booze. They want around a dozen people, maybe more.

Think it's a case of the more the merrier, never played polo myself, but I'm going down for the booze and food alone.

so to get this right - everyone's moaning about the corporate frenzy to appropriate fixed culture and in the midst of that you're going to go on a cookery programme to help them make it a bit more 'now'? Whoring your skills, your bikes, your look and your cool for a couple of fondues and a bevvy?

In all fairness, that's kinda how I felt, same thing happened to skateboarding, punk, whatever "scene" is cool at the time etc.

But then just figured it sounded like a bit of a laugh, and I'd get fed and watered and thought why not.
