London Fixed-gear and Single-speed SJS Cycles

Every time I resist hard on the pedals (from speed) to slow down I hear one single click, and it's frustrating the piss out of me. I can't work out if it's coming from chain, cranks, hub, BB or rear wheel.
So before I take everything apart, clean, regrease, retighten etc, has anyone else experienced similar?

i've had the same thing..it's annoying! it's usually the BB, take it apart + put it back in, cleaning it etc, should fix it..

i find it with incorrect chain tension you sometimes get the click, due to the rotation of the chain before the cog.

In my experience it's either been my knees or slack chainring bolts...
