we all will, kicking ourselves with what's left of our legs after we gnaw them off in the great famine of 2016.
right, i'm gonna buy one, follow you and overtake you at every opportunity*.

mates in evans more like.

staff discount + beer% = a very cheap bike.
cheap so it doesn't matter if it gets nicked/smashed, strong enough for courier work, reasonably light.

two fingers up to bike snobs too.

Viral marketing my ass, not if they read this thread.

Plus with bike shop mates you would just get a flyer at £298 or a normal langster for £255.

i think some of those langsters are quite ok bikes if you look at them as ss bikes rather than compact geometry wannabe track bikes.
btw i love s works stuff, and that includes the frameset...is it wrong?
p.s. anyone noticed hoe the chicago one sez gangster instead of langster?

Saw one this morning. Have been biting my tongue, since I think it's a bit snobby to diss them. But fsck me, it's horrible. (Murtle's, on the other hand, is a very good specimen).

Saw one of the Langsters in Evans today.

That paint job is awful.

Maybe it's a great ride. I think we'll have to change the old joke about why ugly birds are like scooters, and compare them with these things.

hippy:Saw one up the top of Box Hill. True, I think they're fugly but then I'd still ride the Langster over most other bikes ridden in London, ie. 90% are grey hybrids, 5% are women's sit-up-and-beg style, 5% are shite mtb's, 2.4% are nice mtb's and 1.18978% are nice road/track/fixed/blahpoomoo bikes.
you've summed up 103.58978% of bike riding culture in London with that, hippy :)

The only problem with the London Langster is the paint job, a quick respray and you have a pretty decent bike for £400.

Nothing wrong with a 42T..

I saw a Wrongster at the London Freewheel today, along with what I thought was Yorgo's ride, until I spotted it was a white IRO, freewheel with two orange deep-v and orange tyres.. and ridden by a 10 year-old :)

The Langster comes with puncture resistant tires, doesn't it?

had two more punctures since then. so maybe i should investigate
Saw a "wrongster" (oh how I laughed when I first read that - but only the 2007 model mind) in the window of another evans - don't ask, and i take back what I said about the rims and the hubs, they have this really flat matt surface. Doesn't sparkle or shine like you think they should. From a distance nice to look at but up close just not doing it for me. I'm all about the shiny anodized parts me... ;-P

If anybody's on the forum and you've brought one, don't worry about what we say, ride it and enjoy it. Opinions make th world go round, and we're only laying into it until another mass produced bike comes along, then we'll give that one a good kicking as well...
