which led me to think....can we have a recommended supplier / shops page based on votes from members: i.e if each shop /supplier gets more than 80% (or something) positive vote they automatically appear on the page...plus some function for submitting new supplier / shop.

I'm not a programmer so have no idea wether this is a ridiculous suggestion or whether it has been suggested before....but may eventually lead to discounts at the shops we support....non?

It's a good idea.

Should it be a simple vote thing (rate this supplier) or a more complex thing (rate range, rate service, leave reviews).

The more complex thing might best be done within the Review category with some kind of template for providing votes.

Thats great, I have had Nitto tache bars for a few years and loved them. Now gone all promenade (Freshtripe).

hmm. dunno. it's an old thread which i resurrected to ask this question because it didn't really warrant it's own....so maybe it was originally in testing or got befuddled in the cross-over.
