stuff like this upsets me, considering depreciation in re-selling goods and the initial low cost bike, it is only worth about 80 pounds, i don't think adding a red saddle to a unipack would greatly increase its market value.

I hope no-one buys this... for that price you could get a fine 'branded' OTP.

Didn't this sell on eBay for £250 last week?

Anyway, if you're willing to pay £400 for it then tuff luck. If I could buy sell one for £400 I would. Fuck ethics and morality!

Rode it home this evening & appart from a bit of clunking I was really happy with my new fixie wheel bike. The bloke let me have it at a steal price of £380 & he even threw in these cute little frog lights which he said all the fixie bikes have!

Hi first post alert :D been lurking a while but wanted to share my Unipack tale of woe :)

A few weeks ago a mate said he was desperate to have a fixed bike, so I joined here as I thought I'd need a few bits to finish it and for some advice.

I was almost finished when he phoned to say he'd bought one cheap, yes he'd bought himself a unipack.

So instead of the bike below he's now riding a red monstrosity, he paid £350 for his and I sold the bike below on another forum just needing bar tape for £135.

His looks cool though aparently :o

+1 These bikes are not only shit, they are dangerous. You've got to think hard about sending someone onto the roads of london in-amongst some of the most impatient drivers in the land on something that could snap and leave you spilled out on the road waiting to get squashed. Devoneil you are a bad fanny

WTF is going in with that lacing! ah well cost of fashion.
I have spoken to many happy mechanics who have made good money putting cheap (but better) parts on these unicaks.
It gets the shimano out the shop, makes the mechanics some money which in turn they can knock off my purchases.. all good really.
