What year is it? Looks nice although the parts don't suit it too well imo.

I'd prefer the BMC behind it...
To answer your question, I wouldn't go much higher than £450-£500.
Needs colour clashes resolving too.

£500 max. looks like it's only just been restored.

The Gios looks awesome but must agree that the black brakes, derailer, stem etc look out of place, Surely they should be silver!

The red rims and hubs are an issue too. Though they would look a lot better sans transfers - I took mine off and the Wilier looks heaps better for it...

Me too.

Let me tell you where I am. Its a mix match of entry level component's, there are some serious colour clash/co-ordination issues. Its not very pretty imo, Im out.

If I were you Id save the monkey you may blow on the Gios for some carbon porn instead. Its much better than steel especially when you are climbing.

i could pick it for around £450. i agree the components don't really suit a steel roadie. if he'd split the frame and parts, i'd be all over it.

have my eye on a merckx frame, as well.

first world problems, i guess.

most of the money you're paying for goes to the frame. mirage is pretty much the lowest tier of campag stuff. i even wonder why they bothered making it back then.
