Black hubs and Black spokes laced to a black rim might work

i tried and failed to make a completely black wheel, you have to watch out for braking surface and also nipples, as well as the nipple protectors that you get on good wheels, because these things all seem to be silver.

Greasy bollox...
black hubs system, on one, ambrosio for the cheaper end... best thing to do is search hubs then check out what comes, in what colours... and ditto with other items.

Choose the bits you like and can afford.

IMO not worth starting a thread about this.

You can, but it won't stay that way for long. Machined braking surface colour will disappear the first time you ride in the wet (or gradually in the dry), an un machined braking surface will last a bit longer, especially with carbon(cork) pads, but will still go.

Doesn't stay that way for long, I use my brake quite sparingly and it lasted a couple of seriously wet rides, now kind of an off dirty grey colour.

(I have those rims)

Yep definitely more grey than black for Open Pro CD (don't need to be ceramic though so could save some £s as the standard CDs keep their colour on the braking surface)
