pretty dedicated photoshop though. They even tightened the angle of the headtube reducing the clearance between the front wheel and frame, and lowered the stupid seatpost. And levelled the drops. :)

I don't understand the TK3, it's the TK2 of the last couple of years, but a whole 2 pounds heavier (and probably for the same price). The TK3 looks have grown on me, although I do prefer the look of traditional round tubes, but I'm not the type to pay huge sums of cash for a tired old kerin bike, that's just nuts. Plus I'm looking for a new rig to do double duty, race and errands, so I actually want an alu bike. Probably go with the fuji comp, looks like the old pro, but somehow better (maybe the top tube joins the seat tube a little better) plus it's only a grand ($) The graphics are better than ever before on the fuji track rigs, but wtf on the pro seat tube, I've heard of taking a hacksaw to carbon but alu?

I really like the Giant Bowery actually, it's not in the least bit ugly when you think about how straightforward it is to simply change a couple compound and it'll look right as rain (especially the saddle and the stem for instance as mentioned).

I just realise the Bowery came with a chain tugs, did anyone notice that?

I'd have that Curbside f+f as a year-round, mudguarded, fixed road bike. None of the other components, obviously.

+1. asm is right. they even went to the effort of p'shopping the cranks lettering to a different colour.
I think it is more likely that they are made by the same taiwanese firm, and rebranded- my vote is for the Fuji, I fucking hate celeste.

Giant have cheekily asked an extra 50 squid, for changing the handlebars, and adding an orange strip of paint to the standard Bowery.
Thats the new 2009 edition.

All I can say is HA HA HA!!!

I've just seen what is to be the new Cannondale Capo 2009. Its all pastel grey, lilac, and maybe it even smells of lavender??

I bought one of the last Capo 2008, and I'm so glad I did. Red and white beats lilac and such mularkey anytime.

I think its horrendous. But then, maybe I'm blind.

chi11i, I don't know if you're really thinking of getting the last of the red Capo 5's, but as you can see, the follow up is just nasty. Evans only have a couple left, in their St.Paul's branch, and out of stock just about everywhere else. I picked up my Red Capo today; minutes after I'd just seen teenslain.

yeah - i went to st pauls this lunchtime to have a look - at something else which wasnt in stock when i got there, so i had a go on the capo to see what 'a non langster alu was like' they dont have my size anyway, id be a 54 in the capo, the 52 and 56 in the store were either side, had a bash on a charge too, and im a small in the charge! i couldn't ride the 09 capo even if it was the best feeling bike id ever ridden, its ghastly, good call to buy it now i think!
