Just an idea. Post here any parts that you are willing to donate to create 'donor bikes' for those who have been unfortunate enough to have theirs stolen.

Obviously this is for people who are left completely bikeless after a theft, and are perhaps unable to afford to replace it due to being uninsured. I'm thinking of people like Elguapo, students, etc.

So, I guess add parts to the various categories below, using my example.

Wheels: rims, hubs, tyres/tubes, spokes, or complete

1. asm: can donate tubes/ancient front hub

Drivetrain: cranks, BBs, cogs, chains, chainrings, pedals, clips/straps

1. asm: cogs (17/16t)

Saddles, seatposts, stems, bars

1. asm: beat up old black saddle, couple of quill stems, a set of risers

Brakes: calipers, levers, cables/covers, crimps etc.

1. asm: various old weinmann calipers, couple of levers (hoods/crosstops)

Misc: bar tape/grips, headsets, etc.

Frames: forks, frames, complete, etc.

I haven't got a lot, but do drop handlebars bullhorns, bullhorn levers ordinary levers, and a couple of crank chainrings.

I have two pairs of Aero brake levers i can't seem to sell, cane creek and Ultegra. anyone who wants them is more than welcome.

I can donate black 44cm 3t alloy drops wrapped in god-awful tape for the visually impaired. They come fitted with a pair of brake levers. One lever is fitted with a front brake cable. Used once - I rode to the shop to get bullhorns.

Also a pair of caliper brakes. The front used once (same story). Rears never used.

i had my bob jackson stolen - i'd quite like a new vigorelli if anyone has one lying around they can give me. i'm almost bikeless.

Oh down to your last couple of Holdsworths and a Colnago or so?

seriously fiddy, i've only got five bikes left. dark times.
