Oh bugger, I really fancy it but have spent all week convincing Tori that I need one night in this week to recover. GIven a choice between CM and the Saturday ride, I think I'm up for Saturday night.

Have fun y'all.

It's a set of disks grouped together as one logical drive, in which the data is striped over the disks and a parity file representing the data is additionally stored on another drive. Were a drive to fail you could replace it with no data loss, and it's much faster to read and write to than a single drive.

For RAID enlightenment this is the best site:
http://www.acnc.com/04_01_05.html

And yes, this server also uses RAID 5.

And at home I have RAID 0 and RAID 1 in use. And a nice setup of almost 4TB worth of disk space.

Anyhow... Critical Mass.

So what's the skinny on the Rollapalluza? Is nobody going? Or is it Critical Mass and then Rollapalluza? I'm feeling CM then John Snow myself..

But now I'm going to Ikea instead.
Quite similar when you think about it…

Chris: They're hot aren't they.

I have a white F.W Evans 80's E Type frame with a gold and red design. I've just popped some nitto track bars on it and quite fancy the gold goldfingers to set off the gold on the frame....

Nice I'd make sure you add a role of gaffer tape to your shopping list as I've heard those frames have a tendency to fall apart as soon as you go over a speed bump!

Haven't your ordered some silver goldfingers?

well i just made a transparent copper frame, and spent way to much on some blue drops and a seat post, going black fork and stem, so i should be sorted with one of them.
