Film marathons... who's interested?

Hey kids...i've been talking about this for a while with object, so i thought it was about time to see what you guys n girls think.
The idea is to have some film marathon nights at our place with the projector...eg..all 6 starwars films back to back...eddie murphy marathon....rocky marathon...shane meadows marathon....etc.
Plenty of beers,food...what you think?
Feel free to offer ideas for the marathons too!
Cheers!
Scott.

Can we have a Ulysses 31 marathon? I have the box set. Failing that, how about a twin peaks (seasons 1 and 2) marathon?

Both of these are serious undertakings and would last in excess of 2 days.

that's my favorite movie!! the most beautiful cinematography ever.

i am soooo into this idea (once i get to london... less than two weeks!)! projector movie marathons are the best ... i want to do a godfather marathon because i've never seen any of them. or rocky. i feel like i'm missing out on the classics.

does anybody in the uk watch a show called arrested development? it really is the most genius and hilarious sitcom ever, it was cancelled from the fox network and has since developed a cult following over here in the usa. i've got it all on dvd, there's 3 seasons of it, and it's perfect for marathoning. i am really curious as to whether or not anybody watches it over there.

I think it was Aidan that suggested the whole of '24' in one go...now that would be good....24 hours solid!

We won't be doing Die Hard, I've done that one too many times.

I'd really like to do the Lady Vengance Trilogy or a Takashi Miike day.

Scott, excellent idea. I happen to have all the bond movies.

And if you are fans of anime, I have the full series of Naruto, Bleach etc. But that will be more like a week marathon.

I'm all over this like a scorching case of, erm, love.

Anime, Die Hard, Bourne, Aliens, Brazilian, Bond (if we were a little selective)… All killer!

I just did Star Wars so might pass, ditto Beverley Hills Cop (which chafed a little), and my own HK mini-season.
