Bad luck, Jacqui.

Nice one Chris, and don't worry, someone has to be ;0)

The Dolphin. Sounds good enough to me. Cheers!

Fixed is the norm, although gears are welcome. Ish.

Aroogah, "I'm still paying for it...need to drag it out at some point!"

Using that logic anyone with a car should bring it along to the ride. And heaven forbid if this was Americas policy with its nuclear arsenal, though perhaps this is the reasoning for blowing up Iraq/Afghanistan.

Right, having reccied for the last time this weekend I've made a slight change to the route. However, Bikely is being a bit of a pig and won't let me upload the new route at the mo.

I'll take this opportunity to directly quote RPM from the Camber Sands discussion, "I just think anyone planning to ride 50/14 brakeless straight outa hoxton for their first long ride will suffer". Kent is not flat, and even the first section of countryside south of Swanley is, to put it bluntly, a bit of a cunt.

Plus I'll also add that anyone planning to ride this Brakeless should definitely consider adding a front brake. There are several steep downhill sections on narrow roads, with many of them leading directly to a T-junction at the bottom.

Anyway, enough of the ranting, I'll add the new route when Bikely starts to play ball.

That's not logical. A bike isn't a car. Crazy fool!

Don't listen to them Aroogah. Gears are great.
This fixed thing is only for bed-wetters and artsy gayers anyway.

Not quite Wrotham Hill, that's just to the north (the main A20) where on Sunday I managed 37.6mph on 47x18.

LOL. I climbed it (on gears) a couple of weeks back. From the very bottom roundabout to the very top one was 9 and a bit minutes.

My weekend full of 11 year olds just cleared up! Would very much like to replace it with this, but...
I will be geared
I am pretty darn slow
The muscle memory is still having issues

On the plus side I am pretty determined and go a very fun shade of pink. Is anyone else slow too, or is this not a good one to start?
