Ok, I think I have the problem. I just measured inside the BB shell, and the thread runs for about 11mm. The Miche cups, run for about 16mm = 5mm on the outside. Are they supposed to go all the way in or are they supposed to have some hanging out? I can't see it being that much.

Its a British threaded 68mm BB shell. I was recommended this BB, but maybe its not for me :/
