Hello all,

I've searched the forum, but can't seem to see what I need.

So, I bought my Miche/Campag BB tool, and started winding in my BB tonight.
I don't have a spanner big enough so did it by hand, and then with another tool which was pretty ineffective. So, I got so far, and it stuck pretty solid. I'm getting a new set of spanners tomorrow, so will be able to apply some proper force, but I don't want to go break anything. Will I be ok to just push through this resistance?

The drive side doesn't go in as far as the non-drive side... See.



When I pull the cups out, I notice a little bit of 'silver' thread where there used to be black...



When I look inside, I see a little bit of something that doesn't match the rest...

So, any thoughts? Buy a big spanner and push the bugger in?
