I much prefer the idea of people selling here rather than ebay. Here it's more upfront. Somebody wants to get rid of something, they want what they think is a fair price, cool. If nobody here wants it for that much then head off to ebay to find out the 'real' value. Also it's a bit more like offering it up to your mates rather than anonymous strangers, keeping it in the family so to speak.

There's been a few things I wished I'd have posted up here rather than ebay. May have gotten less for it but would have been happy with getting what I wanted for it. Would have skipped the ebay fees and I would be knowing exactly where and who my stuff was going to.

Most of the stuff I've sold on ebay have gone to forum members anyways...
