Exceptionally bike friendly city, if you have the time to spare, go there by train. Takes 24 hours from St.Panceras. Change at Lille, you'll need a bike bag. It's a sleeper, leave at 7pm arrive 7am. Relatively bike friendly.

Berlin is relatively flat, you can take your bike on public transport of peak, nobody is in a hurry and the streets are paved with gold. Oh and they also have a dead nice Keirin shop where you can get a loverly cup of coffee.
