Anyone read the article in Borne about Glasgow couriers? I'll see if I can scan it in but I might not be able to until the weekend. It's a good read. Talks about a courier named James who broke his collar bone riding brakeless down Scott street.

Clyde street is terrible. I saw the Tour of Britain going along it last year and I'm surprised they ran the course along it. To avoid potholes you'd be snaking all over the place. Not exactly safe in a high speed race setting.

when you come out the top of woodlands rd and follow straight over the motorway crossing and you pass driftwood on the corner, the road is so bad there.

I rode my bmx in glasgow a couple of years ago with a guy called Paedo Pete, then drank Buckfast with some yocals down Kelvin Grove, then got a kebab and passed out.

Is that a normal night out in Glasgow?

yeah, for most i guess.... i don't eat kebabs or drink buckfast but kg is a bit 'thugged out' sometimes, especially summer nights when everyone visits the hill in kg and then comes to the park drunk for fights haha.

I'm at uni in edinburgh, a few fixed gears around here, my local bike shop has just started getting track stuf in and are organising trips to do track racing at meadowbank over the summer. Also guy in the shop has a sweet fixed as well and is building me up a wheel for free, well as in no labour charge, I love it.
