    oh, and it feels fine, once you balance the saddle it's quite comfy, just like a regular b17, but being narrower in the middle it also allows your legs to spin a bit more freely.

    i cut it down using a stanley knife (changing the blade for every tab that came out) and electrical tape as a guide for the pattern. two light cuts to guide the blade, then deeper ones over and over till it came away. then a leather punch for the holes on the tabs for the tie, and a cut down spoke to tie it together. then finally used the stanley knife again for the bevel. finish it off with a coating of proofide on top and bottom.
    tomorrow's cool, i should be home from work around 6:30ish.

    especially because there's an uncut one for 32 at the moment
    but even that is tipping my budget
    so I don't know really

    did you sell that b17 cut down brooks in the end?
