    I didn't use it I actually still got it in a drawer.
    I replaced the whole thing also because the bottom bracket was really old and was not sealed so...

    I think if you will keep it you shouldn't have much problems with the chain line. To be honest I think there is more worry than necessary , for a "normal" user is ok, for professionals or people that really ride miles and miles a day then chain line is an important issue.
