Hi. I am looking for some vintage wheels for a path racer 700c or 27" single/fixed hub, steel chromed stem and a crankset to suit - do you have anything to hand? As most people probably say "on a budget". Would be interested to hear from you. I live in Brislington so could come and collect so no posting issues. Thanks, Nevil

    Hello there,

I have been put in touch with you by a man who says you may be able to provide some parts for a build I have just undertaken. I have bought myself a Carlton frame and am looking to build a single speed/fixed gear. As of right now, I only have a frame and a saddle, so any parts used or new would be awesome. Suggestions welcome as well as I am new to this building malarky.

Hi, I just spotted your ad...

    MIKE MULLETT ROAD FRAME 1970s
    Seat Tube (ctt): 54cm
    Top Tube (ctc): 53cm
    Rear dropout width: 122mm
Brake drop with 700C wheels: 50/44mm
    Tubing: Reynolds 531 DB tubing
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Mike Mullett was for several years the foreman at Raleigh’s Ilkeston works which produced the 753 frames for the Ti-Raleigh team. This frame dates from the 1970s and is in very sound condition. The front fork is not original - but is a Raleigh 531 fork. £89

...and I wondered whether this frame is still available? If not do you have any other race/track frames suitable to convert into a fixed-gear (that would fit a 5ft 7 woman!)?

Thanks a lot, hope to hear from you soon!
