Old 1 piece crank. Might have to just get some crank arms and fit the azonic chainring. Wanted to build it as cheap as possible really. Really didn't want it to cost over £50. I'll just hang around the forum for a while, I'm sure someone will get rid of some cranks on the cheap soon.
Think it might be alright though. The chainring is ridiculously far out, it was an old BSA tourer to begin with.
Ha! Maybe that is his name, ir's Robertson really, I'm not THAT well aquainted to know nicknames. Went and saw him today and he didn't have any bottom brackets. :(
What type of miche one did you get? Is the adjustment enough to put my chainline right? It's well over an inch gone!!
I got th old 3 in 1 out tonight and I'm now riding silent, it's so good. Time to get back to creeping up on unsuspecting cyclists going slow up hills!!!
Hook up soon man.
OH! Just realised it's tuesday! Forgot about drinks!
Good luck with the move, catch you up my ends soon! I'll have to take you to see the champ!
NOOOOO!!!! I thought WD40 was the enemy!? I lube'd up my chain and pedals but it doesn't seem to have done a lot! I got 70% done with the beater today. Need a new bottom bracket to get the chain line sorted. Do you have any experience in this? I need to know the length to get, I might take it to my bike man in seven sisters (He wasn't about today) He's a 1 legged colombian dude who sorts shit out for cheap!!!
Duncan - I have your top tube, I was pissed and it seemed VERY funny at the time. I am now overcome with a strong sense of remorse. I guess I'll see you at North drinks sooner than anticipated! Good to see ya last night fella...
Frame is fine i think...haven't really checked to be honest.
The spokes only work on spinergy wheels unfortunately...and you can't get them fixed.
Nothing to stop you taking two wheels worth of spokes to armourtex though...i've seen it done before.
