    Dude i have a 29 steamroller on order at Brixton cycles should be in at the end of the week early next week, also there is a site in the states jensons I believe that sells the same set up as evans etc accept it only has a front brake but its Tek-tro selling for £380 aprox

    Hey... actually I'd definitely be up for that. I'll be on a geared bike myself... I've done London to Brighton a few times, and I have zero desire to attempt Turner Hill or Ditchling Beacon without gears :-)

    Word of warning, though... I'm not fast!!! So if you guys are concerned about making a good time, then you definitely don't want me tagging along :-)

    yeah sure, frame is as you can see in my thread, forks are of similar era, unknown brand, 27" size, so would need long drop brake if you run one.

    Fork is painted deep blue, and would need low stack (sub 31mm stack) headset to run on that frame, SJS have a tange one that would suffice for £15 i think.
