It is amazing how long it takes to properly strip down a bike with the sandblaster. Wish we had a bigger compressor!

Rain

Does anyone else love riding in the rain? I'm not talking torrential downpours here, but that light drizzle like what was about this morning.

It just seems somehow relaxing. That is until some eejit who hasn't cleaned their window tries to pull out on you. But then you get to being all relaxed again soon enough.

Just thought I'd ask!

Long time away

Not been around on here recently for one reason or another. All of my bikes have ground to a halt - all bar the Peugeot which just keeps on rolling.

I've decided not to go all fancy with the Ken Ryall. Time moves on for a very good reason. Though a nice vintage stem is still in the offing - once I know where the next pay cheque is coming from that is. The forks are blasted and primed, and I'm about to go off and do the frame. Sorry to all those patina fans out there but it really needed...

Bent forks

Has anyone else ever noticed that their forks are bent? Just noticed mine are today! Fortunately the wheel runs straight in relation to the bars as the drops seem to be lined up! More work to do.
